OpenNomic

OpenNomic was concieved as a game of Nomic in which the game state is regulated by computer. This makes it much more robust than standard Nomics, but is also harder to manage. Most programming languages would fail to support the ever-changing nature of the game; thus, we turned to PHP.

As a series of web pages, OpenNomic works well with the internet-based Nomic tradition. PHP allows us to change these pages to reflect any user's specific situation. The various pages each handle a portion of the ruleset, and allow more accurate representation of the game than mailing lists or hand-edited reports. With a MySQL basis, it can handle the mound of information much better than any Officer or Harfer ever could.

Currently operating OpenNomic games:

Official Ergonomic
The second incarnation of Ergonomic, with many twists and turns. It still lacks part of the original functionality, and proposal implementation has been slow, but there have been quite a few interesting developments.

Development Ergonomic
The workshop for the current official Ergonomic. Things can quickly break and get confusing here. Anyone connected with the project is free to add and modify the source.
